After recently receiving the Hammer Bet I was immediately impressed with its tough and rugged construction. I must confess my confusion though about whether it was better suited for delivering stout support for my britches, and whatever I may need to carry, or as a defensive fighting tool. The belt is well made. Leather work is exceptional and sturdy. Metal buckle is solid as well. The wear of the belt is comfortable and my sizing fits well. Great product all around. All future belt purchases will be from Mack Belts.
I’m a rancher that knows quality leather from saddles to boots. This belt is the stoutest built belt I’ve ever owned. I’m very confident that this belt will never break down or wear out.
Heard about Mack Belts from a bunch of different sources. So many reasons to try them, and NO, they did not disappoint, and glad to support American Made….and the buckle….work of art.
I am an Archaeologist and these belts are fabulous. Unlike leather belts they don't get wrapped or stretched as they get sweat soaked and I never ever worry about straining or breaking a buckle like I have in the past. This is my second belt because I lost the first on a trip and decided I had to replace it. If you work in a physically demanding environment these belts are a must.
So as a 50 year old man who’s worn a belt most of his life let me assure you a well made belt is worth its weight in gold.
If you work outside an office, trade work, construction, various military roles, etc. this should be a well known fact. As such I plan accordingly.
My 15 year old Filson belt was getting a bit rough. Been around several blocks and was in need of a well earned rest.
So I read about some SF guys building belts. Now, it has been my experience that when Frogmen set out to complete a task it is done with a level of professional excellence that has been known to make an impact.
This is a first class grade A spun up and squared away belt. Yeah, you fashion forward types will be pleased. But for us old blue collar grumpy ass kickers this sort of excellence of execution is rare these days.
I’ll be ordering another. Think I’ll mix it up and get a brown belt. Bold move I realize, but prudent considering the quality found here.
You want old school American door kicking quality? Here we go. Thank you gents for making a superb tool. Rare these days to find such a well made, well thought out tool.

The water.
Leather belts and the water aren’t usually the best combo.
Sadly, I don’t remember Mack talking about the non-leather belts (apologies if he did).
I had just about decided that having “water belts” vs a Mack Belt was going to be my lot in life - when I found the synthetic belts!

I found Mack Belts after a friend sent a referral, I thought I would give one a try. I use my belt quite a bit for tools, knives, etc., so it needs to be sturdy. The biggest difference with Mack Belts is the hardware…it looks like supreme quality and durability. I’ll normally wear out a belt in about 2 years, it’s always the hardware that fails…so I’m excited for this one. I also read more of Mack’s story and love the dedication to American Manufacturing, making stuff the right way, and employing other veterans. Awesome Vision, Mission, and Values, winning formula for a great product.

This is the sixth belt I’ve purchased from Mack Belts. I bought the first one for myself. I was impressed with the quality so I purchased another for myself and two for my sons. That made 4. Then I decided I needed all the colors to match my shoes. I know how that sounds but I work behind a desk so don’t send me your D pics and ask me what panties I wear. I just don’t believe in wearing a black belt with brown shoes and I’m kinda used to the looks a sharp dressed guy can get after I’ve looked so good in dress blues.
The Traditional Belt is built to last a lifetime. You will never find something of this quality in a department store. The look and feel prove that you get what you pay for, at least you do with this company. Outstanding!

Mack’s work has set the bar for quality. I use them both for work and day to day and also for dressing. My wife never noticed my belt until now
I bought this belt for my husband and he absolutely loves it! It’s durable and American Made!
So Mack was very gracious when I ordered my first belt....it had to be bigger than the largest he made. That's customer service. Now I'm down to the largest they advertise they make. I wore it everyday for a year and a half and it looks as good as the day I bought it. That's quality. I knew when I got my first belt it wouldn't be my last Mack Belt, but neither will my second. Keep kicking ass and leaving a footprint.
My only suggestion is: bring back the Double Ox Blood!!
