This belt is light enough to not cause wear on your body but heavy enough, with the awesome American made buckle, to be able to deliver a good ass beating if one is required. It's true! Mack makes a damn fine belt! I opted for the Governor because I am wearing it for work and the belt is also a part of my toolkit so to speak. The belt will also be exposed to weather, sweat, and possibly other liquids. This belt reminds me of the quality leather belt I had years ago; it was leather, made in the USA, and lasted well over 20 years. No other belt I have owned has lasted near as long...natural or man-made material. Did I mention that it looks fantastic?
I can't wait to wear it for work...I have been wearing it daily to "break" it in...but I don't think it really needs that. Good to go straight out of the chute!

I assumed this belt would be heavy duty but had no idea truly how heavy duty it would be. Like holy shit the quality is next level good and it is sturdy. It almost seems like in an emergency you could hook up a carabiner to the metal ring and use this as a rigger belt for climbing. Glad to buy something so high quality made in America by a veteran owned company 🇺🇸
