Does Made in America REALLY matter?!?!?
There's a whole lot more going on behind the build of each belt so let me pull back the curtain for a second...
Behind every belt there’s a long chain of hard-working people making it all possible:
• Steelworkers in Ohio forging our raw material
• Receptionists and office clerks handling calls, scheduling orders, and making sure we get what we need on time
• A driver behind the wheel of the semi, hauling that material to our shop
• Gas station attendants, waiters, cooks, and servers in diners across the country who keep those drivers on the road
• Janitors, electricians, landscapers, and plumbers maintaining the buildings of our suppliers
• County workers picking up trash, keeping the water clean, and managing the infrastructure we all rely on..
And my personal favorites — first responders, law enforcement, and those forward deployed — keeping us safe!
This is the 10,000-foot view of the economic avalanche triggered when a single dollar is spent with a small business that chooses Made in the U.S.A!
I bet you never thought of it like that, huh? and just like that every dollar in your pocket becomes a DOMINO!
It feeds a family. It pays for college. It keeps a roof over someone’s head. It creates jobs and fuels futures! It’s a beautiful chain reaction when entrepreneurs commit to doing business here at home.
BUT…
When the BIG MONEY couldn't leverage the working man any more — they shipped the jobs overseas to the '"DO IT CHEAPER GUYS" in countries that don’t play by the same rules, exploit workers, and ignore basic human rights…
Now... As FREEDOM LOVING Americans... Are we really okay with that?!?!
That’s how we started killing off the very DREAM that built this country and that’s what’s stealing OPPORTUNITY from the next generation...
Every decision we make — As consumers. As business owners. As makers and builders… It either strengthens or weakens the AMERICAN DREAM.
Our future can be rewritten but ONLY if people say YES to Made in America!
