Building a company from SCRATCH...
Building a company from SCRATCH is one of the hardest things I've ever done
I did absolutely everything I needed to do to turn my business into an industry contender!
If you all stopped buying my belts, I would have QUIT a long time ago
But every order felt like you trusted me with a new mission
And like most little guys starting out I got caught up hunting for BIG investors and BIG names and luckily had no luck ;)
I practically worked for free but kept hammering on this DREAM I had:
"To put a 100% American-made belt on just 1% of patriots in this country"
I didn't make fancy purchases or take a big salary
And I have invested over $1,000,000 of my customers money into a 100% American-made men's belt company! (Hey maybe I am nuts…)
But the root of it was always wanting to provide you guys with the BEST and do it in AMERICA
So I kept refining the quality and construction of my belts!
Along the way I was told time and time again that my company was not SCALABLE!
So then…. I built a TEAM. Got a building. Bought more machines. Purchased more dies, tools, punches, and presses. I stacked the leather and steel to the ceiling
Everything I made month after month for years went right back into refining the quality and rewarding the people helping accomplish that
When advised to automate I hired people instead
When advised to outsource I went all in on American-made
Finally after years I achieved the manufacturing foundation I needed to push volume
The LAST step was to bring down the PRICE
But I knew from past experience that TIMING would be everything
It's no secret our country is going through some big changes
As my foreign competitors scramble to survive these tariffed times! Im watching many increase their price and pass the cost on to you! (I hope their cargo containers continue to gather rust at the port)
Well we are doing the exact opposite
Today is the day I do something my team and I have been working towards for years!
